Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Privacy Statement
The International Journal of Kashmir Studies (IJKS) respects the privacy of authors, reviewers, editors, and website visitors. Any personal information collected through the journal’s website or online submission system, including names, institutional affiliations, email addresses, and other contact details, is used only for legitimate journal-related purposes such as manuscript submission, peer review, editorial communication, publication, and maintaining appropriate academic records.
The journal does not sell, rent, or disclose personal information to third parties for commercial purposes. Information provided by authors and reviewers is treated confidentially and is accessed only by individuals who require it for the editorial, peer-review, or publication process. Reviewer identities and confidential review information are protected in accordance with the journal’s double-blind peer-review policy.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts do not contain unnecessary personal or sensitive information about individuals. Where research involves human participants or identifiable personal information, authors should obtain appropriate consent and comply with applicable ethical and legal requirements.
The journal may retain submission and publication records for legitimate scholarly, administrative, and archival purposes. By using the journal website or submitting a manuscript, users acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of information as described in this statement. The journal may update this Privacy Statement when necessary to reflect changes in its practices or applicable requirements.
